According to a recent Football FanCast poll, the majority of Tottenham fans want Eric Dier to be the midfielder who misses out on a starting spot in Sunday’s North London derby at the Emirates.
With Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama both ruled out through injury, according to Ben Dinnery on Twitter, Argentine boss Mauricio Pochettino will have to select his defensive midfield pairing from either Eric Dier, Moussa Sissoko or Harry Winks.

It’s clear from our poll who Tottenham fans want to miss out though, and it is a result that nobody could have expected just a few weeks ago.
59 per cent of Spurs fans want England international Dier to be left on the bench, with Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks starting. Sissoko has undergone a true resurgence in form in recent weeks, and it would seem as though the 29-year-old is now undroppable.
