Everton owner Farhad Moshiri celebrated two years since he became the club’s majority shareholder on Tuesday, and Toffees fans are all saying the same thing about their progress since that day in 2016.
The 62-year-old took the reins in February two years ago and there has certainly been plenty of managerial changes in that time, with Roberto Martinez, Ronald Koeman, David Unsworth and Sam Allardyce all leading the club in that time.
Meanwhile, there has also been lots of action in the transfer market with the Merseyside outfit spending almost £200m on new players across the previous two windows, but they still lie just seven points above the relegation zone with the Goodison Park faithful not particularly happy with having Allardyce in charge either.
Everton supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on how the club has fared since Moshiri arrived, and they seemed to have the same negative opinion.
While one said “we’ve been going backwards ever since”, another said “gone backwards ever since”.
