Premier League clubs will likely face a number of problems, after it was confirmed on their official website that play will not resume until 4th April at the earliest. However, it can be suggested that West Ham United have a different concern to many clubs, due to London Stadium and the issues that can be thrown up if the season edges far enough into the summer months. The Hammers have had their limitations since the move from Upton Park, with an example being that they have not played on Boxing Day once since their tenancy started in 2016.

There may be worries that there could also be limitations due to events taking place at the stadium this summer, with baseball games being played in June and the Muller Anniversary Games commencing in July.
However, Sam Inkersole has tweeted about the situation and suggested that football will have priority over any of the other events due to take place.
It seems as though any troubles will be avoided by West Ham, but the fact that this is even a conversation will likely be a source of annoyance for the club’s fans.
